Cholpon-Ata to host III Meikin Asia International Festival

The city of Cholpon-Ata will host the III International Issyk-Kul Festival of Popular Music Performers Meikin Asia. Press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy reported.

The event will be held from August 18 to August 20 at Rukh-Ordo Cultural Center.

The best performers from Asia and Europe, as well as pop stars from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, South Korea and China will present domestic and world hits on the shores of the blue lake as guests.

The goal of the Issyk-Kul Festival is the development and preservation of cultural heritage through the dialogue of different cultures, the search for and support of talented young performers, and the development of tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan.

The festival is designed to integrate Kyrgyzstan into the global cultural and tourist space, and in the future to become a major platform that brings together performers of popular music.
